    1. I finally got around to reading the linked story you provided. Thanks.
All I can do is shake my head in bewilderment that so many people in this country feel so victimized that they fall for the WWE stage craft of the traitor in the Oval Office.

Do I not remember T***p heaping praise on Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte for his extra judicial killings of accused drug dealers?Didn't he wave off questions about his buddy, Kim, having his family members murdered as "well, he's a tough guy", or some such equivocation? I'll bet that helps Ivanka and the boys sleep at night. And Putin? Between randomly encountering deadly radiation poisoning and falling out windows his opponents are a singularly unlucky bunch.

Murder by heads of state is acceptable behavior for for the "Madman at 1600 Pensylvania Ave."

For instance, whatever happened to his Russian translator? Afraid to open her mouth, perhaps?

  1. Colorado Sun's article on Coffman's race losing the NRCC funding.

Coffman’s campaign staff on Friday afternoon was preparing an email to supporters rallying them for the final push toward Nov. 6, saying that they were neither “sad or surprised” by the funding cut, which comes just as Colorado voters are beginning to receive their ballots.

“The news from Washington, D.C., is disappointing — our national allies are pulling resources out of this battleground,” the note from Coffman says. “… Establishment Republicans in Washington, D.C., don’t know how to fight. I’m a Marine. And I do.”

The email added: “But I need you.”

Gotta like the story in the Colorado Sun.

  2. I think I just rolled my eyes out loud. “sudden opposition ?”, “flares”?  More like a fizzle. Given Rob’s track record on the failed Prop AA I think we can chalk up this hit piece to a dwindling client list and attention-getter.

The Amendment is supported by the state Party, Win the Fourth, ProgressNow, and the next Governor of Colorado, who was also the Congressional sponsor for Section 7606 of the 2014 Farm Bill that gave birth to this industry.

    Vote YES on X

    1. Check your link on 73, David.  When I click it, it takes me to Y and Z.

Also, I should mention that Trump Stinks.

      Great God Almighty, Trump stinks!

  3. Mike Coffman — locked in a tight election in Colorado — has called on the president to recall the U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

There is no U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia.

    1. First story I saw was a reference on Denverite to  The fully spelled out Colorado Politics: Democrats jump to lead in (very early) Colorado ballot returns

For those who don't want to click and go to that site, here's two paras showing "it's early days, but … "

With less than three weeks until Election Day, Democrats hold an early lead in ballots returned, accounting for 47 percent of all returned ballots, compared with 23 percent from Republicans and 29 percent from voters registered unaffiliated.

Of the total number of ballots received and processed by election officials through early Wednesday, 1,946 came from registered Democrats, 1,187 were cast by unaffiliated voters, and 965 came from Republicans. Another 47 ballots came from members of minor parties.

Apparently, the SoS office will start putting out updates next week.

  4. I think Diane Bush will get CO-3. She is now down 1% in the polls and the election has been breaking the Dems way so good chance that the remaining undecideds break her way.

Additional good news, I donated to the 8 House candidates that were down less than 1%. And 7 of them are now ahead (you're welcome).

    Gil Cisneros [CA-39] – now ahead 2%
    Harla Rouda [CA-48] – now ahead 3%
    Lizzie Fletcher [TX-7] – still down (0.4%)
    Paul Davis [KA-2] – now ahead 0.4%
    Elisa Slotkin [MI-8] – now ahead 0.2%
Debbie Powell [FL-26] – now dead even 0%
    Antonio Delgado [NY-19] – now ahead 1.1%
    Leslie Cockburn [VA-5] – now ahead 0.4%

    1. I sent money to jason crowe, diane bush, and Karen mccormick — three great candidates — as well as Jena Griswald, Phil Weiser and Dave Young.  I will happily vote for Jared but he has more money than God.  Also gave to state dems and Democratic National Committee.

    2. I, too, believe Diane Mitsch Bush can take CD3. So many races in CO and around the country depend on turnout, of course, but there are many positive signs. Diane is 10 times the candidate that Scott Tipton is. His advantages? He's a man and he's the incumbent.

      1. Tipton also has opposition to Prop. 112 to drive turnout in the many Republican-dominated counties of the Western Slope.

I hope Bush is camped in Pueblo and pushes turnout there and the valley through election day. It can be done but Pueblo Democrats and unaffiliated must turn out in enormous numbers.

  5. Anyone else working grassroots canvassing running out of literature? We've been doing lit drops for dems and unaffiliated, getting ready to do ballot chase this week.  Even if we narrow it down to "intermittent voting Dems" or some such, we run out. Even in our light red county.

Methinks the enthusiasm on the ground is greater than anyone anticipated. Candidates can't supply enough literature and signs to keep up with the demand. Local parties are creating their own voter guides and slate pieces, but there doesn't seem to be enough to go around.
