  1. Everyone please register one person to vote today. Maybe yourself, a family member, a friend, an employee, a coworker, a neighbor, a student. You can go to govotecolorado.com to check your registration status.  If everyone around you is ready to vote, check in with your local candidate or party office and volunteer to call for  a couple of hours. Ballots drop today.

It's my birthday today (I'm 63), and all I want is ……at least 63 registered voters!

    1. Happybirthday.  Just two more years and you'll have health care.   What a world we live in, where your social security is earmarked for your student debt!

      hang in there, lady!

  2. We have much hilarity brewing over here in Mesa county with the news that several o&g leases are being proposed in the Cameo area of Debeque canyon. Coincidentally, the new BLM shooting education center is right in the middle of it. The potential interior conflict within the right wing community here is entertaining.

Additionally, the leases are in an area where a large herd of wild horses has lived for hundreds of years..

This will pit gun nuts and OHV enthusiasts against O&G pillagers…with David Ludlam caught squarely in the middle. All those redneck gunnies have always been O&G acolytes…let's see how they work this one out.

      1. Haven't heard that it is a "BLM" center. Rather, to be operated by town of Palisade with some assistance from CPW.

Also on morning news here on the Front Range is a coming roundup of more wild horses in the Little Bookcliffs area. Need to take out 33 more to preserve habitat. I hiked into the Bookcliffs WSA about a year ago. Scenic area.

        1. I hiked there for years. I have spent countless hours there.

Moving horses for overcrowding…or getting them out of the way for the rigs? I am guessing the latter.

Ludlam no longer with COGA…so? Isn't he working with Tim Foster at CMU? How many of those adjunct professors are plucked from the O&G ranks?. Why not ask Professor Soychack?

C'mon, Gertie. …you know what an incestuous bunch the Mesacounty/ BLM/ COGA/ Club 20 ruling cabal is.

Nobody actually leaves…they just change chairs.

  3. If you are looking to consult your Blue Book (the classic "voter info" book) before voting, make sure you get the right one. The ever-vigilant Representative Joseph Salazar notified his constituents that the Blue Book mailed out recently is missing some pages:

On proposition 111 (stop predatory lending) and proposition 112 (the 2500' setbacks for oil and gas rule) . Hmmmm….what a coinkidink that only the most progressive proposals were left out. Wonder how that happened.

Here's what Salazar's action steps are:

    Joseph Salazar October 12

    UPDATE: BLUE BOOK

As many of you are aware, the state sent out Blue Books with numerous missing pages, including key pages involving ballot initiatives to stop predatory lending (Prop 111) and the 2,500 ft setback (Prop 112).

The most immediate thing I can do is provide you information on where to get a corrected Blue Book until the state decides a course of action. Also here is the link (It’s jacked up that it’s only for the English version).

EVERY COUNTY PARTY CHAIR, ELECTED OFFICIAL and CANDIDATE should be sharing this information:

  4. Thanks everyone, for the birthday wishes and the voter contact. Keep on registering voters! New or re-registered voters only have until October 29 to register online and still be able to vote by mail.

  5. Nutter has got to be really nervous about this information getting out:

Donald Daters, a dating app for Trump supporters, leaked its users’ data

A new dating app for Trump supporters that wants to “make America date again” has leaked its entire database of users — on the day of its launch.

The app, called “Donald Daters,” is aimed at “American-based singles community connecting lovers, friends, and Trump supporters alike” and has already received rave reviews and coverage in Fox NewsDaily Mail and The Hill.

On its launch day alone, the app had a little over 1,600 users and counting.

We know because a security researcher found issues with the app that made it possible to download the entire user database.
