Good afternoon, Realist and y'all. Hey, it's always 5 p.m. Somewhere!
And any time, any place, Trump still stinks.
Now, on to business. Have you boofed yet, Cornholio?
I'm sure he has. When one does time for your activities at a destructive White Supremacist rally, like the one in Charlottesville last year, and they're like our Cornholio, they tend to become somebody's bitch in prison. He probably did boof under duress from his cell mate and other tougher prisoners. After all Cornholio's more of a wimp than the Crying Nazi from that rally was.
Rape jokes are not OK, I don't care who the supposed rapee is. Also "boof" doesn't mean what you think it means. It's disturbing enough as it is.
I'm sorry MJ
I get it. All guys and some women make these jokes about other men. But I've met male sex assault survivors, and they endure even greater pain and shame because they were supposed to have been able to fight off their assailant better, being men and all.
Consider that at least before you make another "Don't drop the soap" joke.
For a national look at the Colorado Governor's race (and an immense "both sides" list of positions on issues), try an AP/Washington Post article Economy, energy and Trump dominate Colorado governor’s race
Warning: All Claims are Considered. All are reported, none seem to be critically evaluated.
Standard parachute job by a national writer.
Huffington Post has a solid if disturbing story about near collapse of Lamda Legal, the nation's premier legal fund for the rights of about everyone. I can't link from an Amazon fire, but just google Huffpost Lambda.
Lambda Legal, Which Won Key Court Victories For Marriage Equality, Is In Crisis
Which is very unfortunate given the onslaught of litigation coming through the courts on transgender rights and so-called religious liberty legislation (a/k/a homophobic bigotry in the name of God).
Agreed. Ain't no such thing as too many civil rights law firms in an authoritarian climate like this.
Thanks, Genghis.
You're welcome, notaskinnycook.
Thanks for the heads up, V. Got the link.
The ACLU is still very active on these types of cases, as are these folks. They can both use all the help they can get as they step into the gap left by Lambda Legal.

Paul Krugman on the GOP's latest campaign tricks
Goodbye, Political Spin, Hello Blatant Lies
Here's how Republicans are stealing the election in Georgia:
As the article indicates, these are the new "Jim Crow" laws enabled by the Roberts Court invalidating key parts of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 "because racial discrimination is over"
People in Georgia should not be whiners and get a little mad. They need to organize and get even.
CHB — they aren't whining. They are fighting for their freedom and right to vote. The Secretary of State who is now running for Governor saw Democrats organizing, and is using his office to ensure they don't vote.
Don't be so staid. Like I said, don't get mad; get even. Organize!
Huzzah for your comradely fighting spirit, CHB! In that spirit, I have a walklist with your name (C H Banger) on it, so that you can help "organize and get even"on behalf of your true political party.
Come on up to Morgan County and hit the doors with us – I promise you plenty of conservatives to talk with.
You can even tell everyone you meet not to be complacent. I'm sure they'll all appreciate hearing it as much as I do.
Nice try MJ. But I don’t do that kind of on-the-ground activity in my volunteer work. I work exclusively with several non-profits, all of which are C3s, which means no electioneering.
