Who Will Win in CO-6: Coffman or Crow?

  • by: Colorado Pols
Rep. Mike Coffman (left) and challenger Jason Crow

We’ve asked you, our wise readers, to weigh in on the outcome of the race for Governor, and we’ve asked for your opinions on the other top statewide races in 2018. Now it’s time to get Congressional.

As always, we want to know who you think will be the winner in November, not who you support or who you would prefer to see emerge victorious. The point of this exercise is to track how perceptions of various races are changing (or not) as Election Day nears.

Who will win the U.S. House race in CO-6? Will Republican Rep. Mike Coffman hold off another challenger, or will Democrat Jason Crow emerge victorious?

    1. A nobody came within 2 points in 2012 riding on Obama's coattails.  Jason Crow is a much better candidate, and with a pretty strong tailwind.  This'll be the year!

    1. Moderatus:

I am not as confident about the CO-06 race because unlike Stapleton, Coffman is actually running a decent campaign and not hugging various racists so tight (especially Tancredo). And going up against a 5-time victor is NEVER easy, as voting habits provide a valuable cushion for the incumbent.

Still, 538.com has Crow up in all 3 of their models.

      1. Coffman has always been the big rock candy mountain for Democrats, always just around the next curve.  He and I go back a long way and I like him in many ways.   But I sent Crow $300 anyway.   This is about the survival of American Democracy against the assault of Trumpstink, the worst enemy of our country since Jefferson Davis.

I also sent to Diane Mitsch Bush and Karen McCormick, two great ladies running against Trumpstink collaborators.

This is for all the marbles.  If the Republicans keep control of Congress, they will bankrupt us within two years with reckless.military spending, insane tax cuts and fascism triumphant.

    2. No, we aren’t confident, Fluffy. we are all scared that your great candidate for governor, Cynthia Coffman, will generate a gop wave.

tee hee, haha, ho ho, who who, har de har har!

Gloat, gloat, gloat like a goat!

the fluffy one fluffs it again!

Gloat, gloat, gloat like a goat.

but don't worry, fluffy.  We're not laughing with you.

      we're laughing at you.
