I will want to read the Warren bills in greater detail. However, at first glance, they don't appear "eminently sensible" to me.
Considering the “Russian asset” currently occupying the White House, I would not automatically consider Warren to be a "communist." That is too much of an easy way out. Get the new book about Trump's alleged long term dealings with the Russian mafia (House of Trump. House of Putin).
I am curious as to why Trump has never directly criticized Putin. Trump has been hesitant to spend appropriated dollars to strengthen our electoral security. Trump groveled and scraped before Putin in Helsinki; a performance called "disgusting" by none other than Fox News Business Editor, Neil Cavuto. Why did Trump do that? Not a single White House aide was in the private meeting with Putin in Helsinki. What was said? Many, many unanswered questions here that I hope Robert Mueller is investigating..
They are desperate to create any narrative that deflects attention from the T***p/ Putin love fest. Grasping at straws, they are.

The start of a trend is hard to spot in the noise.
A Fox News poll found that 59% percent of Americans approve of Mueller's investigation into collusion with Russia. This is up from the 55% found in June and the 48% in July. The thing is lots of other polls show no trend or contradictory results.
I think it is too soon to be saying that attacks on the probe are becoming ineffective as the Washington Post does while using weasel words like "could" so they can say if this proves not to be a trend that they were cautious or something.
The whole thing is like organizing a mutiny on a pirate ship. Everyone knows the Captain is incompetent and likely to get a lot of the men (politically) killed. The problem is that mutiny is almost never rewarded and no one wants to be a leader and identified as a possible turncoat. Safer to stick it out under a bad Captain and hope to be one of the lucky ones or to take the risk and get it over sooner? And there are the Captain's loyalists in the crew. A fight between the crew could get the ship seriously damaged and there is the USS Democrat not far off and it is almost time to close for action anyway..
We won't know if this is trend or noise for at least a month. If it is a trend everyone will be saying so then, but if it is not everyone will be very quiet about the signs that were there in August.

If someone in-house can damage it, it's for certain the client will manage to. So all of those flaws in the design are tweaked before it ever leaves the site.
