2. House Speaker Duran’s aide punished in Putin portrait prank

   An advisor to Colorado House Speaker Crisanta Duran has been stripped of her security credentials after sneaking a political activist into the Capitol for a prank that made international headlines.

   The staffer, Katie March, who serves as an advisor and assistant to Democrat Duran, allowed the political operative to access the Capitol through a secured entrance reserved for employees.

   So, now Ms March has been punished for her part in a prank, but she's still having to dodge grab-ass Randy Baumgardner in the halls.  Glad we're on top of the big problems.

   Pizzagate propagator Mike Cernovich is among the cast of characters — a veritable who’s who of far-right personalities — that is scheduled to partake in Ward’s upcoming “Road to Victory” campaign tour later this week. The tour, which will also feature an appearance from conservative commentator Tomi Lahren and a video shoutout by Iowa Rep. Steve King, is Ward’s last-ditch effort to convince voters of her Trump bona fides as she seeks to fend off challenges from former Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Rep. Martha McSally.
