  1. “We have nothing to fear but fear itself  Spaceport”

“Right now, all it is is a big, glorified carnival ride…”
    ~Greg Brophy

“We want to educate anyone who wants information, by all means, whether it’s Mr. Brophy or any person who lives in the eastern portion who hasn’t been brought up to speed,” he said. “It’s unfortunate over the past six years they haven’t been in the know but it’s not for a lack of trying.”

According to Adams County Commissioner Mary Hodge, the Congressional representatives, Governor John Hickenlooper, the mayor of Denver and the head of Denver International Airport all signed an initial letter of support at the beginning of the licensing process in 2011.

I suppose the conversation will be useful insofar that can be the shiny object in the room, a nice distraction from the more substantive conversations we could be having. Maybe they can kill two birds with one stone: have the farmers sign up for their #TrumpWelfare after they’ve voiced their fears of flying debris killing our cows? (which they’ll want the gummit to pay for).

  2. Worth considering …

Poll Shows Coffman, Crow in Statistical Dead Heat in CO-6 Race

Usual caveats apply — within the margin of error, pollster has a Democratic lean of 2 points and a C+ rating at 538.com, pollsters claim these are "likely voters" (whatever that means), margin is 47-45 [meaning only 8% for others or undecided?], it moved into a push poll [meaning polling callers could provide biasing cues]. And the biggest one:  it's early, with lots of campaigning and ads yet to come.

  3. Moddy is becoming a member of an increasingly exclusive group — Morons that still believe Trump!

Trump's approval rating sank to 38 percent in a national poll released Tuesday by the nonpartisan Quinnipiac University and conducted after his Putin summit, with 68 percent of voters reporting that they were "very concerned" or "somewhat concerned" about his relations with Russia.

    1. Even Putin was smart enough to realize the optics were really bad.  Trump's still a useful idiot for him, so doesn't want to see him impeached before he can inflict maximum damage to the US and our allies.

    2. [satire]

Leaders of ISIS and Al Qaeda Puzzled Why Trump Has Not Invited Them to White House

The terror chiefs said that, as sworn enemies of the United States, they had certainly attacked the country enough to warrant an invitation for an official visit, and possibly a state dinner.

“Maybe we haven’t done anything to directly undermine their democracy—I get that,” Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of isis, said. “But we’ve been nemeses of America for years, and that ought to be worth something.”

  4. Ruh Roh!

Court: Emoluments Clause Applies To Trump And His Hotel Profits

A landmark case arguing that Trump has violated the Constitution by accepting foreign government money is going forward.
