Here’s a photo anonymously forwarded to us from inside last weekend’s Western Conservative Summit at the Colorado Convention Center. Depicted is the booth set up by the Rocky Mountain Black Conservatives, but there seems to be a small problem:
That is, a lack of “black conservatives.” But fortunately these nice white folks were there to, you know, fill in.
There’s a larger metaphor here for those who care to see it.

White rednecks filling the void created by their oxymoron
Be fair, the black guy's got to take a break sometime.
Ben Carson and Herman Cain cannot be everywhere at all times.
We really SHOULD be encouraging increased diversity of all organizations, including the Republican party.
I think it is great that House District 5 voters need to consider voting for Darryl Glenn instead of Doug Lamborn — and even better if they had to consider Glenn versus Stephany Rose Spaulding.
But Glenn is busy, couldn't be at the desk. Could they have at least found an Hispanic guy to meet the goals of the top sign? I suppose we should be happy – the picture is majority female.
Their Hearts Are Black
But they're so white, they're saltines.
When you've lost Casper Stockham…
Maybe they mean “black” like in “Black Irish.”
