  1. Just one more way Sen. Gardner is having a bad year…

Tillerson saying earlier in the day that we were quite a ways off from negotiation. The South Koreans announce a meeting between Trump and Kim. Trump confirms the meeting and says it will happen before May.

North Korea gets the photo op they want (and haven’t had in 65 years).

Cory must wonder what President Trump will do in the meeting.

    1. Besides trading tips on managing their hair styles, I'm pretty sure Trump will want the answer to his most pressing question: "Is it true you executed your uncle and other traitors who don't applaud on cue with an anti-aircraft gun?"

In the realm of wildly optimistic hope, this might be like Nixon going to China.  In the real world, Kim will likely roll Trump for lessened trade restrictions in exchange for a fake agreement on nuclear weapons that North Korea will promptly ignore.

  2. All the news to piss off V:

Chelsea Manning became the Principal of a a public charter school named Bernie Sanders Public Charter School. All the teachers are socialists and they practice their socialist skills after nap time daily. V's preferred  Logical Phallusies curriculum (which includes red-baiting and hippy punching) was rejected in favor of all socialism, all the time.
The Union Lezzbots have set up  a 2500' oil and gas free perimeter, , just to impoverish V's brother-in-law, and to mercilessly mock his sacred mineral rights.

In other news, activists briefly halted construction on a 24 well pad at Bella Romero School in Greeley.  Those who, like V, believe that private mineral rights supersede the health of public school children have not yet managed to implement their methane-belching infrastructure next to the soccer field.

    1. Newly named principal Bradley Manning promptly won the Benedict Arnold award given annually by the Russian FSB to the American traitor who most contributes to the murder of American service men and women abroad.  The presentation was by Vladimir Putin.

In other news, leftist demonstators in greeley were hospitalized with a bad case of the vapors after six of them farted after eating burritos "liberated" from a local taco truck in a display of "anticipatory socialism,"  The farts contained methane, the principal ingredient in natural gas, and the horrified leftists fainted dead away when the wind shifted their way.

In a statement, mj confessed she was going to abandon satire in future attempts at defamation, having concluded she has no natural talent for it.

      1. I thought it was pretty entertaining, V. If she has no natural talent, then she must have studied hard. On the other hand…it wasn't aimed at me, so….😁

        1. Admit it, Duke, the fart joke response was a lot funnier than her paean to chelsea manning.  And nothing pisses her off more than reminding her that manning is a convicted traitor.

          1. It's at 7th grade boy maturity level – about right for you.

All my life, men have tried to get me to shut up by telling me that I have no sense of humor (if I don't find their lame ass jokes funny) or that I must be stupid or crazy ( if they dont get my sense of humor). You have nothing new to offer in this vein, just the same old tired shit.

Chelsea Manning and the entire staff of the Frack Free Bernie Sanders Socialist Academy agree on this point. You suck.

            1. If all of your life, people have told you that you have no sense of humor, do you suppose it's possible you have no sense of humor?  And I knew reminding you that Bradley Manning is a convicted spy and traitor would ruin your whole day.  If you're looking for a hero, switch to Che Quevara — at least he was a good writer.

P.S.  When your idea of humorous writing is screaming "You suck", then you really do have no sense of humor.

              Tee hee.  Beat you againdevil

Say, I don't suppose your Stalinist friends will rebate the taxes on the property they want to steal, will they?

              Thought not.  Sigh.

              1. If you want my opinion (. . . yeah, I know . . .), you two dilettantes should both probably stick with your journalism and leave the comedy here to the real professionals . . .

                . . . like Madco

                . . . and Moderatus!

                cool

              2. You are the Master of Misquotation. (Available as a degree study program at Liberty and Trump Universities – is that where you got it?). I said, specifically, all my life, men have been telling me that I lacked a sense of humor when I didn't find their lame-ass jokes funny. Most women know exactly what I'm talking about.  I bed your wife does, too.

My day's good, thanks for asking. Even better now.

But I do take it all back, about you showing a seventh grade boy maturity level.

                Tee hee.  Beat you againdevil

is some second grade social skill development. Who is this Quevara you speak of?  Any relation to your good buddy Jose Cuervo?

There are no Stalinist friends stealing anything – but your oil and gas buddies are stealing the futures of these kids – and the kids are pissed.

Perhaps someday you will be mature enough to acknowledge that mineral rights fees are not a high enough public good to justify ruining the environment, or  retarding the brain and lung development of an entire generation…. or that compromise is possible.

Extraction Oil and Gas could have put their well pads in a myriad of places in the industrial area , besides next to Bella Romero Academy's soccer field – but it would have cost more money to directionally drill farther or down deeper. They could eliminate almost all emissions – but the equipment would cost money. That's not "taking" your precious mineral rights – it does cut into Extraction's profits, however.

Where is the public good here?

I know you won't answer that question, but will instead deflect and distract, probably with more insults or misquotes.

Whatever. I'm not bored with this yet, even if Dio is. I usually, like most adults on here, avoid engaging with you because of your abusive habits and your habitual dishonesty….however, as long as you continue to defend the likes of Extraction, it's on.

                1. You avoid challenging me because I beat you like a rug.

Then, you lie like a trooper, repeatedly claiming my son in law, or brother in law, is a big mineral rights investor.  Big lie, deliberate lie.  He is a mechanic, expert at maintaining compressers.  You can't stand the thought of an honest mechanic so you deliberately make him an investor.

Even Moddy knows better than to tell deliberate lies that csn be so easily refuted.  Are you just a pathological liar?  Or are you hitting the cooking sherry on your morning breaks?

Oh, vodka?  And you think we can't smell it on your breath?

And you admit that for many years you have been told you have no sense of humor?  Now, who could think that?

                  1. You are a master of misquotation.

I rest my case. You have just demonstrated your facility with this.

You also seem to have a startling familiarity with being accused of alcoholism. I wonder where that came from?

                    1. Answer the question: Why did you lie by claiming my brother in law, a mechanic who works for Anadarko, was a mineral rights investor instead of a worker.

                      Why

                      Did

                      You

                      Lie?

                      It's a simple question.

                      Why did you lie?

      2. I thought it was pretty entertaining, V. If she has no natural talent, then she must have studied hard. On the other hand…it wasn't aimed at me, so….😁

  3. Cory Gardner doubles down and announces a "red line."

The Colorado Republican said the shift away to President Trump’s “maximum pressure doctrine” and away from former President Barack Obama’s “failed strategic patience doctrine” has pressured Mr. Kim to enter into talks, and he said the stakes are high.

“If the result of this meeting is not verifiable concrete steps to denuclearization, than it will be a failure, and then the president is going to be under tremendous pressure because that new red line has been set to act,” Mr. Gardner said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “Because if the meeting with the president of the United States doesn’t achieve this result, what is left of diplomacy?”

    1. The nice thing about our Corwardly Gardner is that no matter what he says . . .

. . . he’s sure to be walking it back just as soon as anyone starts asking him questions.

      1. The slimy little weasel will be appearing on Face the Nation on Sunday…Should be great comedy. Margaret Brennan will tie him in knots, I trow.

        1. Lamborn isn't particularly good at campaign fundraising, and facing a primary challenge (if I recall) I'd say, follow the money:

Lamborn’s congressional district is home to multiple military installations and he is a high-ranking member on the House Armed Services Committee. His apparent change of heart on medical marijuana better aligns him with influential veterans groups that have called loudly on the federal government to loosen restrictions on research into medical marijuana.

Last May, The American Legion, the nation’s largest veterans service organization demanded President Donald Trump reschedule marijuana to permit research into its medical efficacy in treating traumatic brain injury and post-traumatic stress disorder.

          1. Perhaps he is hoping that Cheech and Chong set up a super PAC to help his re-election bid….

He is taking a big risk with Daryl Glenn labeling him as too liberal for that district.

          2. I don't really care why he's doing it. I ain't proud, I'll take it. There is so much empirical evidence that it works on neurological conditions (Charlotte's Web is a miracle for children with seizure disorders) that it's malpractice for doctors and researchers not be doing rigorous clinical studies. And they need real cannabis for the trials, not that sorry patch of ditch-weed they've been breeding back on itself since the 30s at Ol’ Miss. If the Congressional delegations (both chambers) from all the states that have permitted medical use stick together the laws can be changed. We need to encourage them, by holding their jobs over their heads, to do the right thing.

            1. Good points.  While I'm happy if some Republicans finally see the light on this matter, I'd prefer the more direct approach and have the House and Senate flip come November. smiley

  4. The Denver Post reports the well pad is 1300 feet from a soccer field at the school.  So, you lied again claiming students can't get more than 150 away.  Actually, if they are closer than 1300 feet, they are trespassing.  Yawn.  Just getting off the soccer field should put them 2,000 feet .

Tell me again why I should support this latest field trip in Stalinist double-thi nk?

But I am really glad to learn you don't believe in property rights.  I need to borrow your car this weekend for a fishing trip to Arkansas.  Be sure to gas it up and leave the keys on the visor.
