              1. It should, in theory at least, be easier to avoid having that discussion with your daughter when the “evidence” isn’t sitting across from her at the dinner table? . . .

      1. No, no, no

        Ivanka doesn't get a pass.

Donald Trump to Howard Stern: "It's okay to call my daughter a 'piece of ass'.'

Donald, once upon a time: "Pregnancy is a real inconvenience to a business."
Ivanka: ""So I think that you have a lot of negativity in these questions, and I think my father has put forth a very comprehensive and really revolutionary plan to deal with a lot of issues," Ivanka Trump responded. "So I don't know how useful it is to spend too much time with you on this if you're going to make a comment like that."

        Ivanka:
"“I remember once, my father and I were walking down 5th Avenue, and there was a homeless person sitting right outside of Trump Tower. And I think I was probably nine, ten something like this, it was right around the time as the divorce. And I remember my father pointing to him and saying ‘That guy has $8 billion more than me.’ Because he was in such extreme debt at that point. And me thinking ‘What are you talking about?’ He was sitting outside of Trump Tower, and I didn’t understand. I just thought about it a year or two ago and thought it interesting. It makes me all the more proud of my parents that they got through that.”"

"Trump Entertainment Resorts — the entity that held Trump's Atlantic City casinos, including the Trump Taj Mahal — as a starting point. The casinos went bankrupt in 2009, just a few days after both Donald and Ivanka resigned from the board citing "internal turmoil" due to the casino's poor financial performance."
Screwed the shareholders- but since they held the debt they emerged fine.

        Lying cheating liars.

        She's fake.
Her current job is 'advisor to the President' but she can't respond to questions about accusations against him because the questions are rude.

She's an isolated rich kid who had a modelling career without having to illegally immigrate to the US.

        She sucks.

        1. That anecdote . . .

“I remember once, my father and I were walking down 5th Avenue, and there was a homeless person sitting right outside of Trump Tower. It makes me all the more proud of my parents that they got through that.”

. . . tells you just about everything you’ll ever need to know about the two of them.

What I don’t understand in that story, however, is why the homeless guy didn’t just file bankruptcy, stiff his creditor’s, and keep his $8B in property and assets? . . .

      1. h/t Bill Maher

Now that Michelle Obama has announced that her upcoming memoir will be entitled "Becoming," Melania Trump must release hers, entitled "Pretending To Be Coming."

      2. Just another illegal immigrant who started a chain immigration.

She looked ok in her underwear and posing naked.
        But "exceptional"
The only exceptional thing about her was she got Donald to marry her.

    1. Just send Joel a whopping big check, Roy . . .

If you want to reap financial blessings, you have to sow financially. — Joel Osteen

. . . you know it’s what jesus wants you to do!

. . . on second thought, could you please make it certified funds?

  1. Rick Santorum blames single moms for school shootings.

First they tried to blame violent video games or songs, or movies, or fashion.

Then they tried to blame immigrants for all mass murders, even though most mass murderers are white male citizens, or citizens, period.

Then Trump blamed the Russia investigation.

Now Rick Santorum is trying to blame divorced women for raising boys in "broken homes".  Fox News is a reliable echo chamber.

The truth is that there is no common factor; school shooters tend to be mentally ill males. But some have fathers at home, and some do not.  Domestic violence is a known factor in identifying a potential murderer. I'm  inferring that the intersection of  "broken homes" and school shooters  is in a history of domestic violence in the home.

Less than half of all American kids live in a "traditional family" household ,per Pew Research in 2014.

What are the main factors in mass shootings? Scientific American says that  the USA has more frequent massacres because it has more gun owners owning more firearms each, fewer background checks, unrestricted sales, a need for comprehensive mental health services, and false narratives that target immigrants (or movies, video games, FBI investigations, or single mothers.)

        1. So Rick Sanitary is still around. I had thought he might get offered some sort of postiion in Department of HHS, but evidently not.

        1. Moddy warned us: it’s a slippery slope. Maybe Alex isn’t one of those law-abiding Republicans in private?!?

From the ‘Christians for Michele Bachman’ page:

    1. Closeted homophobes are the worst.

Those shirtless photos of Jones are apparently not photoshopped. He fancies himself as a "bear" (hairy big gay guy) and is pretty actively putting his profile out there.

At the same time, he's peddling anti-gay  wacko theories like "LGBT activists are creating cyborgs and want to have sex with your car".

        1. I think that Jones doth protest too much; and may be at least bi. His insistence that a staffer watch gay porn with him is revealing.

That big hairy type appeals to a lot of women also 😉. It's also possible that Jones is just trolling and mining clicks on his website, successfully.

        2. I have no idea…I'm just connecting the dots for Nutteranus so he can draw his own conclusions and then form a conspiracy theory to share with us.

I'm betting Alex isn't one of Moddy's Law and Order Republicans in his private life.
