“We’re male chauvinist pigs, and we’re happy to be because we think that’s what men were destined to be. We think that’s what women want.”

Ladies….if Rush – Mr. Oxycontin and Viagra – doesn't know how to make you happy no man ever will.
Well, that's enough to make a woman puke.
Jesus, Alva – way to spoil a day! Bad breakup???
Rush has no redeeming social value other than he's a Pittsburgh Steeler fan.
Democrats pick up another State Legislative seat in special elections. Florida HD-72 voters elected Democrat Margaret Good over Republican James Buchanan, 52-45. (No – not that James Buchanan – this one is Congressman Vern Buchanan's son…) The election was a 12-point improvement for Democrats.
In two other special elections Republicans held seats – one decisively, and one very red seat in Oklahoma which swung 38 points toward Democrats.
Boycott the GOP!
What woman wouldn't want this as her Valentine?!?!
Ew, Michael! I think I'll keep my lovely wife, thank you.
Unsurprisingly…
Cynthia Coffman ditches petitions, says she’ll seek ballot through assembly process
She's gotta connect with the people, bruh.
This dumpster fire brought to you by Cynthia Coffman for Governor
From the standpoint of making it onto the primary ballot, this actually makes some sense.
Hell, Fluffy could probably pull 30% of the GOPer caucus and assembly against that field?!? . . .
Remember how Daryl Glenn overtook Repugs who enjoyed greater statewide recognition?
Mathematically 3 candidates can make ballot through state assembly. Stapleton, Coffman and ….?
Stapleton, Mitchell, and Robinson are all petitioning onto the primary ballot. Since Tanc tanked, Coffman is the only “name” left going through the caucus and assembly.
So, like I said, Fluffy? . . .
Mathematically 3 candidates can make ballot through state assembly. Stapleton, Coffman and ….?

Time for thoughts and prayers again……
Today's mass shooting was in a Florida high school leaving 17 dead.
Let's not politicize this latest tragedy.
How did this happen? Well the Lord Jesus has been chased out of elementary schools and condoms have been brought in.
Let freedom ring!
No, it's time for denying access to guns to people who have been diagnosed as dangerous. This student (a citizen, by the way), had been banned from the school campus because he was a threat. So who the fuck sold him an AR15 and multiple magazines?
Negev, love to hear your take on how this is all Hillary Clinton or Obama's fault.
In the eyes of the ammosexuals, this is a golden opportunity……
You see, the 19-year old did not take his own life nor was he killed by cops. He can be brought to trial. And since he's over 18, he can be executed. And he may not be able to count of a twit of a prosecutor spending his time posting on twitter during the capital murder trial.
You are correct, MJ, but you also know it aint gonna happen. If the sight of those 6 year olds in Newtown, CT didn't move anyone, the death of teenagers won't either.
You will hear a lot about personal responsibility. And enforcing existing laws. And bringing bad guys to justice.
Oh yes, and kicking God out of the classroom and bringing Satan (in the form of Heather Has Two Mommies and multi-culturalism) in.
Oh, there’s a god in America’s classrooms . . .

THAT'S why this stuff doesn't upset them. It's all part of their god's divine plan.
Fluffy, is this just another one of your sincerely-held religious beliefs?
CPols boldly ignores the issue on their FP.
WE MUST HAVE A BIPARTISAN SOLUTION BECAUSE EVERYONE KNOWS THE BEST IDEAS ARE EXACTLY HALFWAY BETWEEN THE D and R PHILOSOPHIES.
WE also know both sides are equally motivated to find a solution, but “60 votes”.
WE also know SFL Bennet must not propose anything radical, NAY ANYTHING, because Republicans will call him names and that’s mean and then you can’t be all Bipartisanny and stuff.
Shout it from the rooftops, brother!
From me, nothing political..just a very hearfelt hope that Wayne LaPierre burns in his Christian hell for all time…
That isn't political…is it?
It almost makes me wish there was a literal hell, just so Wayne la Sociopath could burn there forevet.
And Dudley Brown, too.
Arm the children! Automated pop-down machine gun turrets to cover every hallway! If only we had armed officers and teachers…
Fuck, folks – the man opened fire with an AR-15 in a hallway after pulling a fire alarm and, rumor has it, throwing a smoke grenade… just who do you think had time to react and shoot under those circumstances?
People are living in fantasy land. They watch action movies and cartoons where the guy with the biggest gun wins. They imagine themselves as the hero who will take down the bad guy. The reality is, as you said, pretty different.
I'd bet that Parkland School probably had an armed security guard or a school resource officer. But they're not necessarily going to be near where the shooter is. And it looks like they weren't in this case.
Teachers followed the active shooter drill procedures ( I practice those a couple times a year, too), locking themselves in classrooms out of view of the door and hiding silently in the dark.
Nowadays the thinking is that if a shooter breaks in to a classroom or is attempting to force a door,if there is a means of safe egress, to get out of there.
"Fighting back", i.e. rushing the shooter using tables or desks, fire extinguisher, etc, is a last ditch desperate measure if a shooter manages to break in.
I hate that we have to think this way.
They watch action movies and cartoons where the guy with the biggest gun wins.
That is precisely where it all begins.
Yep…
There have been some folks in human history who believed strongly that solutions to problems humans face should not include violence. Little known figures with names like Ghandi, King, Jesus…
Sadly, humans who feel powerless are taught by the entertainment industry that solutions can be found by picking up a gun.
Until we, the consumers of violent entertainment, convince the corporations that pay other corporations to entertain us that we won't watch any more, little or nothing will change.
Ever since the only communication medium was the human voice, storytellers have thrilled humans in every culture with tales of struggle and heroism…often involving violence. The struggle between "the good guys" and "the bad guys" is as old as man.
I grew up with guns…I have a couple. We used them to hunt for food when I was a kid in Eastern Kentucky. We didn't need an AR-15 then, and no civilian in this nation needs one now.
We watched an interview of Rick Scott and his band of prayerful toads this morning.at least until their pleas for support for the cops and endless reminders to their families and friends of how much they care drowned out their plaintive cries that this should never happen again….and the hypocrisy of these right wing assholes made us both sick…and I turned it off.
You really want to stop this shit?
Take down the NRA..they don't represent gun owners…they represent gun makers.
