In a Jan. 26 interview on Denver’s KNUS-710-AM, U.S. Rep. Ken Buck (R-CO) said once again there’s not a “shred” of evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia–and he recommended that Trump skip any interviews with Special Prosecutor Robert Muller, saying it’s a perjury trap and pointing to problems Bill Clinton encountered speaking about Monica Lewinsky.

“There has been no collusion,” Trump told KNUS guest host Randy Corporon. “There’s not a shred of evidence about collusion.”

“This president should not give a statement, and this special counsel should wrap this up,” said Buck.

Still, Buck, who sits on the House Judiciary Committee, which would theoretically take up impeachment hearings if any occur, said a “Republican-controlled Congress” would impeach an Republican president, if a “crime was presented” to the body.

Buck said last year that the Russia-Trump collusion investigation has “no substance.”

Buck addressed a handful of other topics in the interview, including DACA. The Congressman expressed an openness to a DACA deal, even one possibly involving a path to citizenship for Dreamers.

“You can see some of the Art of The Deal in how [Trump] handled the shutdown,” Buck said, saying he looks forward to seeing what Trump comes up with for the Dreamers.

Odd that for a President that never lies, and has nothing to hide, that Buck is so concerned that Trump might say something that gets him thrown in jail. I wonder what Buck knows that we don't?

  Luckily, Mueller is a better prosecutor than Buck. As for the "no there, there," Moddy, you forgot the asterisk for the 2 guilty pleas and 2 indictments and upcoming trials. But you keep playing lickspittle for white supremacists, as it seems to be your forte.

Buck learned well from Cheney, when Cheney mentored the young New York lawyer (Ken Buck, born to New York lawyers, Princeton graduate, fake cowboy).

Cheney was covering up the Iran Contra scandal, when Young Buck came to help with that coverup and later said,

"The report Buck helped author found Reagan made judgment mistakes with the Iran-Contra affair, but that there was “no constitutional crisis, no systemic disrespect for the rule of law, no grand conspiracy.” – Allison Sherry, Denver Post, 9/2010

Sound familiar?

The Reagan administration had been negotiating with terrorists (despite Reagan’s repeated public position that he would “never” do so). There were illegal arms transfers to Iran, flagrant lying to Congress, soliciting third country funding to circumvent the Congressional ban on financing the contra war in Nicaragua, White House bribes to various generals in Honduras, illegal propaganda and psychological operations directed by the CIA against the U.S. press and public, collaboration with drug kingpins such as Panamanian strongman Manuel Noriega, and violating the checks and balances of the constitution. [ again – sound familiar?]

Ken Buck learned his lessons well from Dick Cheney.

1. Deny that a crime happened. Deny any evidence exists.

2. If evidence exists, destroy or hide it, or try to undermine source's credibility.

3. Work with people in the underground – gangsters, drug runners, and terrorists – they are easy to buy off.

4. Profit is king. Millions of dollars buys a lot of moral stature.

    Not many people do know about Buck's history with Dick Cheney. Cheney really got Buck started in politics. Every other time I've posted this information, Andrew Carnegie, who must be some kind of Buck surrogate, jumps on here to say, "Lies! all lies."

  Holy Crap, MJ — what KBR did in real life is much worse than the amoral OmniCorp in the "RoboCop" movies, which is saying a lot!
  
  But unfortunately, this seems typical of the "Support our Troops", flag-waving Republicans — empty words and false promises while they feast on government pork at taxpayers expense.
  
  Just like the GOP tax bill that tosses a trillion dollars into a bonfire to provide a small, temporary economic boost (which will force the Fed to raise interest rates to dampen the biggest impact it will have — an expected inflationary pressure due to an acute labor shortage) , while shoveling tons of cash into the pockets of the GOP's favorite crony capitalists.
