ACORN: Reform Now is right, but is it too late?

  • by: Libertad

The implosion occurring at ACORN is a sad testament to the likely intent of its founding volunteers.  For those interested in crisis management this one’s a live case of management failure and corrupt leadership.

The damage that can occur when one takes on a bankrupt set of principles is staggering.  There has been zero attempt to actually implement the broad and well publicized goals.

The response from ACORN’s CEO:

… If ACORN did not exist, the right-wing would have needed to create us in order to achieve their agenda, their missions, their ideal, retrograde America.  This recent scam, which was attempted in San Diego, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia to name a few places, had failed for months before the results we’ve all recently seen.  I am appalled and angry; I cannot and I will not defend the actions of the workers depicted in the video, who have since been terminated.

They are in TOTAL DENIAL

Now comes Brooklyn … in living color

Part II: Brooklyn

Apparently the Feds have: Pulled their U.S. Census contract, Pulled HUD credit access, and voted on pulling all Federal Aid.
