Does Dobbs believe that the real birth certificate lists the president as a Muslim; is that what he is concerned about?
Back in the day some governments did indicate religion on certificates. In today’s world unique characteristics such as this are celebrated to show the individual has a deeper world view.

Fox31 shows up yesterday to do a story on the DAV National Convention, and interview some vets about what we do. At least, that’s what they told us.
Instead, Deb Takahara shows up at the convention with the “VA’s End of Life Discussion” plan and starts asking the most leading questions of anyone she can find.
Problem is, most vets already know about this AND DON’T CARE, so she works the crowd until she gets the single response she wants.

Of all the people she talked to at the convention, she could only get ONE to say that it’s an outrage, and another who could “kind of” not like it. Somehow, all the other statements (mine included) didn’t manage to make it on air.
And, even though she had unlimited access to the convention and the senior offices, she somehow “forgot” to talk to anyone who had any official standing on the issue…y’know, Director of Legislation, Communications Director, National Commander…people who have testified to Congress or the VA Secy on the issue.

The reporter in question said that she wanted to do a story about the CONVENTION…what the DAV does, what programs we have for disabled vets, award winners, etc.
When she got to the place, she already had the stupid pamphlet out and dog-eared at the one page in question, and walked around trying to find someone that would give her the quote she wanted.
Once she got what she wanted, she bailed…even thought several people in the senior leadership had set aside some time to talk to her. And they would’ve had a statement about this very document. We’re already working with the VA to revise it.

…have you ever set foot in a VA Hospital? Vet Center? Can you even ID one on a Map?
If you did, you’d know what out-f*ckin’-standing people work at these places. They could be making a hell of a lot more soaking up the excess profits of the health care industry, and yet many of them stay at the VHA for 30+ years.
Most of the them are vets. ALL of them know that the care they give is different, because they know the wounds they treat come from War.
There are no “Death Counseling Indicators,” or “Death Panels” at the VA. The document in question (1st edition found here: http://www.ethics.va.gov/YLYC/… Second edition is being revised and is NOT being given to patients at the VHA )
is written in plain English with no Harvard words. It’s intended for an audience that has suffered hardship, wars, and wounds. We don’t want sunshine blown up our asses when we’re at this point – and this document doesn’t do that.

In that time we had two group memorial services for any family members who wished to attend. The room would always be packed. They would bring photographs and other memorabilia and if they wished, speak to the group about their loved one.
And almost to a person, they praised the VA staff.
