  1. (Tune of Dead Skunk in the Middle of the Road)

Donald Trump is an odious toad.

Donald Trump is an odious toad.

Donald Trump is an odious toad.

    Stinkin' to high heaven.

    (Repeat)

  2. Trump signs Russia sanctions bill he blasts as 'clearly unconstitutional'

President Trump today signed a bill aimed at punishing Russia for its interference in the 2016 presidential election despite slamming it as "significantly flawed."

In a signing statement released by the White House, Trump said the legislation "included a number of clearly unconstitutional provisions" in lawmakers' "haste" to pass it.

"While I favor tough measures to punish and deter aggressive and destabilizing behavior by Iran, North Korea and Russia, this legislation is significantly flawed," he said.

He went on, "My administration particularly expects the Congress to refrain from using this flawed bill to hinder our important work with European allies to resolve the conflict in Ukraine and from using it to hinder our efforts to address any unintended consequences it may have for American businesses, our friends or our allies."

Tillerson told reporters Tuesday. "We were clear that we didn't think it was going to be helpful to our efforts."

We all know what those efforts are trying to do…".Drill, baby, drill!! Polar bears can go live in the zoos."

    1. This is what a united Congress can do. They didn't trust our President to deal impartially or as an adversary with Russia, so they made certain he had no choice. I hope we see more of this kind of thing. T

    2. Like Fluffy said yesterday, the Republicans are desparate for a win.  TOTUS has been "American Dreaming" of signing a bill, and he finally got to . . .

. . . gotta' love that it's one limiting his corrupt aspirations!

Tired of all that winning yet, TwoScoops???

    3. Wasn't Tillerson supposed to go spend more time with his drilling platforms or something, step back from the SecState thing, if Russian sanctions went through?

  3. So our pushback has brought back live press briefings to the White House. It has not brought back truth or transparency or integrity or lawfulness to the White House – but at least we get our on-camera press briefings.

Sarah H Sanders seems to be doing a creditable job in not answering questions, while seeming to answer them,  keeping her cool, and repeating Trump talking points. This is in the tradition of all White House press secretaries, as it should be. They should not make the news themselves.

*We're focused on the President's agenda" (whatever that is)

*"Trump will be truthful and transparent" (when? about what?)

*"I'll get back to you on that"

*(re: North Korea) "Stop the missiles, stop the aggression"

*(re: Donald, Jr mtg w Russians) DJT Sr "weighed in, as any father would" (I would think a good Dad would ask, "Are you out of your f-ing mind? Don't meet with Russian bankers, son!")

  4. Hmm, I wonder why Mueller's team needs someone with this experiencedevil

Greg Andres started on Tuesday, becoming the 16th lawyer on the team, said Josh Stueve, a spokesman for the special counsel.

Most recently a white-collar criminal defense lawyer with New York law firm Davis Polk & Wardwell, Andres, 50, served at the Justice Department from 2010 to 2012. He was deputy assistant attorney general in the criminal division, where he oversaw the fraud unit and managed the program that targeted illegal foreign bribery.

Obviously nothing to see here folks — move along!
