Trump and his team are almost surely compromised by Russian intelligence via Trump and Manafort and Stone business dealings in Russia.
Every dollar Trump makes from this day on should be scrutinized by law enforcement. Colorado's Democratic elected officials representing us in DC, even though they might place dollars over principle as The Donald does, shouldn't let all the little shiny objects tweeted out, all the yearning for that Good, Ol' Fashioned Bipartisanship, all the admonitions from AC and the like to "move on" and "get over it" or all the screaming about "Benghazi" and "emails" dissuade them from forcing Republicans to account for their president's truly criminal behavior.
(You see why AC is going to harp on Hillary until David Koch or Vlad tells him to stop?)
And, though we will never stoop to the level of cynicism and hypocrisy displayed by Republicans every single day, we must also keep in mind what they would do if a Dem was doing what Trump is.

Ironically, as was brought up on CNN, Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump shared the role of outsider candidates. Both Barack Obama, in 2009, and Trump, in 2016, were seen as the candidates of change.
Without a doubt, the DNC rigged the nominating system against Senator Sanders. Hillary Clinton certainly was the candidate of the status quo and was unfairly portrayed as a third term of Barack Obama, much as John McCain was unfairly portrayed as a third term of George W. Bush.
People wanted a change in 2009 and 2016 and neither Senator McCain or Secretary Clinton, respectively, offered that. It was rather stunning to hear former president Obama state that he could have beaten President Trump for a third term. Who did he think people wanted a change from?!
A day that will live in infamy.
Media Matters gives a little history check we can use when Republicans tell us we must respect Trump and the Office of the President, we should defer to his prerogatives because he "won", we can ignore all the legal and moral failings and abuses of the Constitution and the 8 years full of Racism, Cynicism, disrespect, lies, Anti-Democratic and Anti-democratic abuses of the American people:

Good point, Voyageur. An imperial tweet, however, isn't the same as using an imperial pen and phone to issue executive orders to circumvent the legislative process.
What legislative process? There hasn't been one for the past 8 yrs. Or do you really not understand "civics"? In order for there to be a legislative process, the legislature has to actually DO something…..besides obstruct the president.

Actually, NPR reported, this afternoon, that it was outgoing HUD secretary Julian Castro who made this move, not President Donald Trump. This is why I find Huffington Post stories to be questionable. Ben Carson isn't confirmed as HUD secretary and I have not seen any other news source reporting President Trump signing any such executive order today.
That being said, it's interesting that the Obama administration saw fit to keep that rate as high as they have for eight years… until the last few days of that presidency. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised to see the rate reduced, once the new HUD secretary… whoever it may be… is confirmed. I would be suspicious of any executive order done by any outgoing administration in its last few days, or weeks, in office.

Castro announced the decrease in rates. The Trump White House, after his inauguration, which makes him the guy in charge, as reported at The Hill, reversed that decrease.
As pseudo says above…your post is a blatent lie. Anyone who heard the story on NPR knows it. Trump forced the change, Castro simply announced that a benefit Americans were going to receive had been cancelled by the incoming administation.

At this point, I'm starting to feel like my refusal to diarize is becoming ridiculous, but here's some news that may particularly startle some polsters.

Why do I give a crap about what some tabloidy legal industry journal wants to snark at, says you? Well, you might be interested by one Jones Day lawyer in particular and his assignment.
Who's John Gore? Well, he's probably a capable attorney. In fact, you may be familiar with one of his cases. He represented some of the defendants in Carcaño v. McCrory, a case out of North Carolina, that involved the potty and who could use it.
Others may be more taken with some of his work in redistricting in New York and South Carolina.
My favorite comment of the day came from someone on CNN. (I'm sorry I didn't catch the name of the commentator who said it.)
When President Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump left the White House, in the Beast together, headed for the U.S. Capitol for the inauguration, he said, "There goes the two men who kept Hillary Clinton from becoming president."
I'd give them both the Medal of Freedom for that achievement!
Kudos to Secretary Hillary Clinton, Senator Chuck Schumer, and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi for showing up to the inauguration today. They all showed real class and Senator Schumer and Congresswoman Pelosi were very gracious in their remarks at the inauguration luncheon in the Capitol.
There was nothing noble about the 60 House Democrats who chose to boycott the event and felt they had to announce it. They really came across as pouters and have proved just how irrelevant they can be in a congressional chamber that doesn't have a filibuster rule. Frankly, they were not missed at all. According to CNN, none of the Senate Democrats boycotted the inauguration. Good for them!
One last thought… I am truly amazed at how big Barron Trump is! He isn't just tall for a 10 year old; he is also pretty husky for that age. He could easily be mistaken for a 14 year old.
I think it is easy for people to forget that — because of Barron's size — he still only has the mind and emotions of a 10 year old. He may have looked bored at times, but today's activities had to be pretty overwhelming for someone that age. As Malia and Sasha Obama can tell him, it is an extraordinary experience to live in the White House as a kid. I wish him well and hope the media and public cut him some slack. God knows none of us were perfect angels during the time we were 10-14 years old!
When I was ten, I was driving a tractor on our family farm. Somehow, I doubt Barron will have to do that.
Nor do the vast majority of 10 year olds who live in a city or even the suburbs. So what's your point?
You know what he means…the kid will never have to work a day in his life. Lucky him…his daddy is the new emperor.
The guy that slammed Obama for executive actions just signed two on his first day:
1)directing all agencies to 'minimize the burden" of Obamacare. Read: stop enforcing individual mandate and penalties.
2)Raising payments for Federally backed mortgages by cutting the temporary fee rate decrease. It doesn't amount to much ~$29 on a $200K mortage, but this is the first thing Trump signs?
3) The Trump DOJ motioned for delaying the hearing on the Justice Department vs. Texas' voter ID law. Apparently, he'd rather wait until racist Jeff Sessions is AG. Obama's DoJ found this to be a law deliberately designed to keep Latinos and Blacks (also poor people, elders, and women who had changed their names) from voting in Texas.
Trump did not keep the other 34 promises he made for Day One: he did not declare China a currency manipulator, revoke the TPP or NAFTA. He did not propose term limits for Congress. He did not propose legislation to limit foreign lobbying influencing elections (well, that one might have been awkward). He also did not pursue a lifetime ban on White House lobbyists for foreign governments. (Again, awkward).
And he is in flagrant violation of the Constitutional emoluments clause, and his campaign staff certainly colluded with the Russians to help get him elected.
Keep pressure on your Congresspeople, and on the media to report this.
