Military raid on peaceful protest of water protectors at standing Rock res in ND. Mainstream media blackout, perhaps because Democracy Now journalist Amy Goodman was issued an arrest warrant for covering the story.
Lest we forget. Some pertinent history for discouraged millennials and disillusioned Berniacs.
I Wrote That I Despised Hillary Clinton. Today, I Want To Publicly Take It Back.

Morning PPP state polls (for VoteVets):
Colorado 4-way Clinton 46, Trump 40, Johnson 6, Stein 2
2-way Clinton 51, Trump 44
Florida 4-way Clinton 45, Trump 43, Johnson 3, Stein 1
2-way Clinton 48, Trump 45
North Carolina 4-way Clinton 44, Trump 42, Johnson 7
2-way Clinton 49, Trump 45
Pennsylvania 4-way Clinton 45, Trump 39, Johnson 6, Stein 2
2-way Clinton 49, Trump 44
Virginia 4-way Clinton 46, Trump 40, Johnson 7, Stein 1
2-way Clinton 49, Trump 43
The polls also asked who won the debate; in each state, the answer was Clinton, about 50-30.
Just one pollster but I do believe Trump blew the momentum that brought him to a virtual tie with HRC.
The Detroit News is the latest newspaper to deviate from conservative tradition.
But this one is not endorsing Clinton instead choosing to go with the perpetually surprised looking Libertarian Johnson who was just as flummoxed by an open question/invitation to name a world leader he admired (couldn't come up with a single name of any world leader anywhere) as he was by a reference to Aleppo which he appeared to never have heard of.
Great choice, Detroit News.
The actual publication of Chuck Plunkett's nascent endorsement of Herr Donald "The Fat Shamer" Trumpf , shaming that the disgusting pig Newt Gingrich seems to agree with, is looking to be more difficult by the day. Major Conservative newspapers everywhere are endorsing Hillary. And if he isn't able to convince the Post's rapacious owners to say "yes" to his journalistic dream, they'll all be getting some Tea Party/Alt-Repub/KKK blowback from the only endorsement they should make.
I suppose they could go the Detroit News route and support the guy who probably isn't on mind altering drugs but does a great impression of someone whose brain has been completely fried. In this choice between dumb and dumber scenario I'm not sure which plays which role. Perhaps it should be viewed as the dumber and dumberer scenario. Dumberer and dumbererest ?
Funny. I thought I hit Zaps reply but it didn't show up in Zap's box.
In this state, where MJ is legal, maybe it's time to put the drug references to rest. There are plenty of average citizens (who aren't running for president) who regularly use mind-altering drugs and could answer the question better than Johnson. His problem isn't all the weed he's smoked, it's that he's an intellectual lightweight.
While I didn't have the plant you refer to in mind, even if I had I wouldn't be taking your tight ass scolding seriously nor your advice on correctness. Besides, your main objection seems to be that I’m blaming his cluelessness on drugs, clearly not the case as I say right off the bat that I seriously doubt that drugs have anything to do with it.
Maybe you need to smoke some weed.
No one needs to turn their mind to shit by blowing weed, but if that's what turns you on, I will always vote to allow you to do it.
Have another PBR, Voyageur!
I think, dear Daft, you are the one who could stand to unclench a little.
Has he been sniffing glue?! Plenty of Coloradans have tried that!
Trouble maker!
To file under "You really can't make this stuff up". They override Obama's veto and then blame him for the bad legislation he vetoed. Dems not exactly covered in glory here but McConnell's complaining that the guy they've treated like the anti-Christ for the past eight years should have made more of an effort to save the from themselves is priceless.
Leaving aside all the unintended but easily foreseen consequences, did anyone ever think that there was a snowball's chance in hell that anyone would ever be able to successfully sue the Saudi government for 9/11? Prove it wasn't Saudi individuals but the Saudi government itself? To the satisfaction of any court in which such a dispute would have to be settled? I'd say suits over civilians killed by American drone strikes would have a much better chance since there's no doubt whatsoever that those are acts of a government.
There was never anything to be gained. It was pure political cowardice on the part of both Dems and Rs and an assumption by both that the American people would be too dumb to understand why this wasn't a great idea.
