Musty's profile in courage
Did anyone else catch how Musty voted with the liberals to override the Shrub's veto of the water projects bill.
When it comes to our men and women fighting and dying in Iraq, she tows the party line and backs up the Shrub's veto.
When it comes to kids without health insurance, she again votes with the White House and against those kids.
When it comes to stem cell research, she's a loyal Republican and votes to sustain the veto (even though loyal Republicans like Nancy Reagan and Orin Hatch supported the override vote).
But when it comes to protecting water projects (some of which are clearly pork), she "grows a set" and flips the bird to Bush!
  Priorities........

Musty's latest "dialing for dollars"
A good friend of mine just received an "urgent request for dollars" from Musty's Johnstown Office.

It starts out with "The liberal special interests and Democrats are amassing an assult against me greater than all of their previous attempts .... they believe I'm weak because I didn't receive a majority of the votes in last year's elections".

Further she says, "with the Democrats controlling Congress, some Republicans have abandoned our core beliefs hoping to avoid attack.  I continue to stand firm in defending the conservative principles that you and I share".

It gets better:  "Recently, the National Republican Congressional Committee revealed it only had $1.6 million on hand, but also $3.9 million in debt....yes, you read that correctly, the Republicans have $2.3 million more in debt than they have money available". [apparently the fiscal responsibility of the current Administration has trickled down to the NRCC]

"As you can imagine, it now looks like I will not be able to count on their support for my next re-election".  [crocidile tears].

And for her grand finale, "I've been a consistent roadblock to the liberals in power as they try to railroad their agenda through Congress".  [the word "speed bump" comes to mind]

Anyone so moved to committ dollars to this campaign can send up to $3,000.00 ("..because it is so important for you to be able to resist the Democrat's latest power-grab attempt in Congress") to the following address: (and no, dog poop doesn't count as money)
