Poll: Who Will Be Our Next Front Page Guest Editors?

  • by: Colorado Pols

UPDATE: Congratulations to Voyageur and ProgressiveCowgirl, your front page editors for the first half of 2013.

—–

This poll (after the jump) is an election for two new front page guest editors at Colorado Pols. The new editors will start January 1st, and barring anything unexpected will hold their position until the June 2013–at which time we’ll have another election. Remember, there’s only one poll of nominees, and the top two finishers will win the coveted front page editor spots.

Due to the field of excellent nominees competing for two available slots, this will be a “multi-vote” poll. You may vote for your two (or more) top choices for front page editor.

Good luck to our nominees, voting ends at 7:30 PM Sunday night. New account creation, currently disabled, will be restored at that time. Remember, we are closely monitoring voting to prevent cheating, so please don’t bother trying.

Happy voting!

  1. That is the question you must ask, dearest Polsters, when judging the reign of tyrants like PCG.  And Club Twitty, that guy is so washed up reused, spin cycled out its like re-electing Mitch McConnell over and over again in spite of all reason to the contrary.  I, Willard Smitten, am the Ashley Judd of this election!

  2. that I was nominated. As usual, I don’t feel prepared to and will not serve. Just saying this as a precaution since I consider it  highly unlikely that I’d win but please don’t vote for me! To all those who wouldn’t dream of voting for me, my heartfelt thanks.

  3. Does the site need them?. From December 1st to yesterday, 54 diaries have been front paged (Open Thread, Friday Jam, and FPE announcement excluded). Of these, 35 were Colorado Pols (65%); an additional 10 were Jason Salzman’s promoted by Colorado Pols. Together these make 83% of front paged diaries.

As near as I can tell, only one diary in the month of December (PTF promoted by Club Twitty on 12 -13) got promoted by an elected FPE. So what’s the point?

  4. but Ari’s allways shown an ability to see both sides to a reasonable degree.

I saw the Sarge’s name, and can only hope.

    BC, PCG, and the Duke.

    This is an impressive group.

What? You think Voyageur and Progressive Cowgirl paid us by check? You can’t follow a cash money trail, Pols.

  6. Personally, I voted for PC and BlueCat, before noting BlueCat’s disclaimer.

But seriously, thanks to the pols community for this honor and I’ll try to live up to it.

  7. I will accept “Nate Silver” as my new nickname.

Seriously, though, thanks to those who saw fit to give me a fourth term, and I regret only that I can’t serve with all three of the above described nominees. Thanks especially for keeping me around after I spent the last week convincing most of you I’m a blithering gun nut. I felt sure I was headed out this time, after some of the replies recently. I’ll try to do a better job of figuring out where I stand before announcing my opinions in the future, as Blue especially has illustrated to me that I need some improvement on that score.

  8. a couple of heavyweight braniacs, were there ever such. This is going to be a very interesting session at the state Capitol…

power shifts..seismic policy changes…monumental constitutional battles…an oil and gas guy on the first floor…

You two will be busy…thanks for serving!

  9. On second thought, can I deliver it personally to Voyageur and PC across the coffee table in Arvada?

Thanks to the 6 who voted for me. I was pleasantly surprised.
