6. has finally conceded. So the final count is 201 D to 234 R in the House. An eight seat gain for Ds fighting against the gerrymandered tide of safe districts. Of course if you’re a Republican, that and a larger Dem Senate majority and a re-elected Dem President, who won in spite of their billionaires money and the right’s control of the most popular cable “news’ network and talk radio, means the voters handed you, the Republicans, a mandate. You also get the mandate if you actually win more seats and the White House. In their world it’s always heads Rs win, tails Ds lose.
