Capisce?

  1. This is a comment in an open thread, since you have nothing else to say about the video.

As for Ken Buck’s “own words,” well that’s kind of the problem, isn’t it? In his own words he’s been on both sides of every major issue in the election.

    1. Because why would Buck want this video out?

At Buck HQ they have to be celebrating that Face the Nation was preempted for football so few will actually see this on TV. And cursing BJ for putting it up there.

I mean seriously, the guy doesn’t even make sense.

      1. The more Buck talks, the more votes he loses.

We need to make sure this clip gets widespread play.

Clueless BJ wants to give Dick Wadhams a run for his money in the “Who can help the most Dems Win?” contest.

And BJ, it’s capice, something you’ll never possess.

          1. So, investing 10 seconds of my valuable time, I type in http://www.dictionary.com and search for ‘capisce’.  Not surprisingly, the result came up with  nada.

So, I tried an alternate spelling, just in case this is what you missed in your phonetics class:  capiche.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but if this is what passes for research and academic integrity in your world, then I have grave concerns about the work you are and plan to do as a teacher entrusted with the future of our children.

Do all your proofs also rely on miracles for their solution?

                    1. You thought it made perfect sense to ban one user for aggregating all the information about you that you had previously posted.

And you were offended that another user was suspended for crossing CoPols’ line into belligerent and pointless name calling.

You are the 180Вє man. Or woman. Or whatever you consider yourself to be.

                      Who is to say?  CoPols.

Not you. Not me. Not anyone but them.

                    2. Find another blog to annoy, torment, pester, plague, molest, worry, badger, harry, harass, heckle, persecute, irk, bully rag, vex, disquiet, goad, beset, bother, tease, nettle, tantalize, or ruffle.

                      ht to zookeepers everywhere.

                  1. You’re at least the fifth poster he’s demanded be ousted.  He tasted blood with Steve Harvey and intends to keep on purging posters until everybody on this board treats him with respect…which will leave just him and H-man.

              1. Daft — I found BJ’s version of the spelling on wiktionary before he did.

If Dictionary.com had the entry as he initially claimed, I wouldn’t have pursued the point.

It was the fact that he claimed a source that he didn’t bother to confirm that I find to be such a predictable characteristic of his.

Lazy researchers lacking in academic curiosity does not bode well for a career in teaching.

                  1. Not literally as much time, but you are the guy who keeps touting his education as a reason to be taken seriously as a commenter here. If you really want that, then yes, you have to put some research into your comments and not toss off stuff that’s easily disproved like this.

And I think you missed RedGreen’s joke, which was poking fun at your math expertise. I kinda get the sense that you don’t have much sense of humor when you’re the butt of the joke, though. Too bad – being able to laugh at oneself is a great gift.

                    1. But on Pols, where every little statement is going to picked apart and taken wildly out of context, I’m not going to laugh at myself.

                    2. denverco’s opinion is shared by many.  More than you realize (you should be more careful who you friend on Facebook).

                    3. Now that is definitely trying to out someone. Everybody I friend is a die hard conservative, unless I know them from somewhere other than politics. Given that the screen name references Denver, that’s highly unlikely.

                    4. I have no desire to out anyone.

Once upon a time, you referenced your FB page. For all I know you made it up or were trying to be funny. Back then I didn’t fully understand that you are the upisdown 180Вє man. woman. wtfe.

But I’m not up on FB so I wouldn’t know. Or care.

                    5. you don’t understand the TOU. Stop calling for every person who pisses you off to be banned and try using your wits instead.

                    6. And the world was created in six days.

That little rant did sooo much to establish the quality of your education and your mastery of the scientific method.

(bonus points for explaining that the term days in the KJ bible was a period of time in the original Serbo-Croatian text and thus doesn’t necessarily mean 24 hours as measured by the atomic clock in Boulder, but otherwise the sequence in Genesis is EXACTLY what happened after god created the Big Bang (“Let there be banging!)   and while the earth itself is very old but life on earth is less than 10,000 years old, and never mind that damn Carbon 14 dating because Bishop usher added up all the ages in the Bible and so that settles that.)

Ahh, the tragedy of home schooling.

    2. But if you need a longer explanation, this is what I meant: “This video clears up all the misinformation Dems have been spreading about Ken Buck, most notably BashBuckPols.”

  2. When it comes to fiscal issues, I would like to know: is Ken Buck ready to defund the two wars, downsize the defense department, and scale-back Medicare? Something tells me he isn’t.

Buck also dodged most of the questions, and the ones he tried to answer he flipped on.

Once you get elected you become part of the “establishment” (whatever that means), so running as an anti-establishment candidate is crap.

    1. you can become part of the establishment without ever having been elected.  And in

Bennet’s case you can vote to increase funding only if you take the new spending from existing programs, and then vote new funding without taking the funding from existing programs.  How sincere.
