I heard that too!

They were all there - Wadhams, TT, McI, Penry, Boyles and others.

Breakfast meeting.

ANd they decided who would do what when and how.

 It was a place. And you and you and you ... and you were there. But you couldn't have been could you? No, Aunt Em, this was a real truly live place and I remember some of it wasn't very nice.

This diary

adds enough of a transformative take on things by posing the question, and by adding the poll, and in any case it's pretty close to what's a very brief excerpt that is in no way the gist of the story it's excerpted from. it's the diaries that just say "isn't this interesting" and then quote lengthy passages that are more at issue. That's MHO.
