| Just received the following email from Congressman Perlmutter via the Bennet listserve:
"I have remained neutral in their primary until now, because I believe both men are gifted and talented public servants of whom Colorado can be proud. However, I have decided to endorse Michael Bennet in this primary. Over the past year, Michael's diligence, determination and dedication to solving problems and moving Colorado and America forward have earned my trust, respect and full support.
Sincerely,
Ed Perlmutter"
For some reason I had thought Perlmutter had already endorsed Bennet, but I guess I was wrong.
At any rate, good news for the Bennet campaign to put out before the caucuses on Tuesday, particularly in light of the PPP poll that gives Romanoff some ability to claim an electabilty edge over Bennet. (Again, I personally disagree as to the strength of that argument per RedGreen's comments in his diary on the matter, but it's certainly an argument Romanoff can/should be making). |
