Also, Markey has been paying serious and appropriate attention to the district, and is seen as an effective Representative, at least according to people I've talked to in the district. Also, as noted elsewhere, the district has slowly been turning Democratic. When you put everything together, the signs seem to point to a Markey victory. Discipline without purpose is tyranny.
