“A sovereign’s great example forms a people; the public breast is noble or vile as he inspires it.”

Perhaps the three wise men should have been cheddar cheese figurines.
Jack Phillips, the proprietor of Masterpiece Cakes in Lakewood, is a big advocate for the artistic rights of cake bakers. I wonder how he would view this…..
Knackwurst, Mary, and Joseph . . .
Throw in a near-Founding Father and you almost have a #TeamJesus basketball team.
Keeping in mind that the vocabulary level of your average home-schooled Alabaman is just slightly above that of Moderatus, I gotta’ think he was trying to spell “fondling father” and got an autocorrect assist?? . . .
I’m going to make sure that’s trending hashtag tomorrow!!!
Does the #MAGA Choo-Choo train have enough clean coal in the burner to take us all the way back to 1776?
On the subject of bad spelling, Dio, it's Alabamian. Don't insult the whole state just to give Moore what's coming to him.
I do stand corrected, ma’am. I only intended for my insult to fall upon those Moore supporters from that great and auspicious State . . .
. . . you know. those “average home-schooled” Moore-lovin’ type — the Moderati of the South, if you will? . . .
Cookie, fyi, is a Ma'am, not a sir. Though she can cook a mean sirloin.
Fyi’d
In general, I think the Pols policy is not to out peoples' gender, unless they have outed themselves as your buddy Powerful Pear / Roger Edwards did.
The pols policy refers to identity, not gender.
Though I do recall one polster, dwyer, who was touchy on that point.
dwyer was our own "Chicken Little", as I recall…do I remember that right, V.?
Don't know quite what you mean, Duke. I found her posts to be confusing at times. I thought she might have a touch of dementia and admired her for raging at the dying of the light.
I seem to recall she was always predicting electoral disaster. Of course, she has been gone from here a long time…and I am getting older…so the past becomes fuzzier all the time.☺
On reflection, I think you're right that she often predicted disaster. As I said, often her posts seemed awfully confused
I'd rather be outed than misgendered, M.J. That's a subject I'm a might touchy on.
Perhaps it’s time to end our failed, ‘Great Social Experiment’, “Prohibition”?
